Leading Edge Protection on Wind Turbine Blades

TEKNOBLADE REPAIR 9000-20 — elastomeric coating

TEKNOBLADE REPAIR 9000-20 is a two-pack, solvent-free elastomeric coating designed for dispenser-gun application, intended as a repair product for refurbishment of Leading Edge Protection on wind turbine blades.

Substrate types: tested and approved on fibre-reinforced polymer and previously lacquered surfaces.

It withstands impacts and hard abrasion and cures down to −8 °C. The coating will yellow and chalk over time under UV light, but still maintains protection against rain erosion despite the discolouration. It is usually applied at 2–3 mm thickness.
